Ciera Foster got a RBI single in the top first, but LaFayette quicly battled back and scored a solo run on an RBI single by Yancy. Katie Carruth scored a home run on a groundout by Sandridge. Davis helped out in the sixth inning by making an outstanding diving catch in foul territory to prevent LaFayette from scoring. But things got real in the fifth inning when singles hit by Hannah Blevins and Marquila Howell and a bunt by Mckenzie HougeĀ  loaded the bases. Crawford struck out Madison Harris, but Kayleigh Goff managed to hit a high chopper that landed just perfectly to bounce off the plate. The Lady Panther catcher Cortney Mooneyham caught the ball and forced Blevins to be out and then threw the ball to Grayson James at first base for the inning-ending double play.

The Lady Panthers will advance and play the winner of the Heritage v.s. Northwest game right here at home.
